PEBBLES
Pebbles is one of three Chihuahua mix sisters rescued from North Central shelter. She is 5 months old and weighs just over 4 lbs. Pebbles is sweet, affectionate, active, playful and confident. Aside from her sister, her best friend is a 50 lbs. Chow Chow. My preference is to place Pebbles in a home with another fun, young doggy playmate. Because of her size, Pebbles will not be placed in a home with children under 10 years of age. In addition, potential adotpers should be aware of the enormous amount of time, energy, and committment needed to raise and train a young puppy. PETUNIA

TOTO
Toto
is a 40 pound 2 year old Husky mix. He was a cute puppy but once he grew up his family didn't want him anymore. Toto is affectionate, he gets along with dogs, he seems to tolerate cats, and he is great with children. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, a fecal test was done, and frontlined. Toto has been an outside dog all his life but now he gets to sleep inside with his family. He is learning to do his business outside using a doggy door. HERMAN
Herman is a wonderful, quirky 2 year old, 10 lbs. Chihuahua mix who was found tied to a fence post. Since being rescued, he's had surgery for luxating patellas (slipping kneecaps), and he now has a cute little skip in his step. Herman LOVES to go to the Silver Lake off-leash small dog park where he has many dog and human friends. He’s fine with cats and other small dogs, and would do best in an adult home or one with older kids or teens. He’s been chipped, neutered and is up to date with all his shots. Currently, he is enrolled in a group basic obedience class with his foster mom, where the trainer says that he’s a very smart little guy! Herman is also completely house-trained, and LOVES to sleep in the crate. Adoption would involve a home check, an adoption contract and a fee. GRETA
Greta is a one year-old female Lab-Shepherd mix. She was found tied to a telephone pole. She was very friendly to everyone that was passing by and finally someone untied her and took her home with them. Now she lives with a foster family and she's ready to find a new forever home. Gracie is a 1.5-2 year-old English Mastiff. She was rescued from the North Central shelter. She came in as a stray and was extremely emaciated, weighing only 75 lbs. She is very loving and affectionate with all people, including kids and wants to be a lap dog. She does not seem to like other animals however, so should be your one and only. She appears to have had some prior obedience training, and has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Unico is a one year old 50 pound male Boxer-Pit mix. He is great with people and he would be good with children but he gets too excited around other dogs. So he would do best as an only dog. Vinny is a 2 year-old neutered male Chow-shepherd mix. He was found running in and out of traffic on a busy street. He was dirty, smelly, and had a really bad ear infection, but now he is all cleaned-up and healed. Vinny is great with children and cats.
